Made from diatomaceous earth: millions of microscopic silica shells, each perforated with precise apertures. Water is drawn inward through capillary action on contact, disperses through the stone, and evaporates passively back into the air. No wringing, hanging, or laundering. The surface resets after every use.

A diatomaceous earth surface dries itself. There is no daily routine. The mat resets between uses on its own. The notes below are everything you need to know.

When the package arrives Inside: your Surface Mat, an anti-slip rubber pad, a piece of 320-grit sandpaper, and this card. A brief rinse under running water, wherever convenient, and a full air-dry before first use. Place the rubber pad on the floor just outside your shower door, then lay the mat on top. The pad grips by friction. Both pieces can be repositioned anytime. That is the entire setup.

Occasional rinse If the surface looks dusty or has not been used for a stretch, rinse under running water. Air-dry completely before the next use. Do not use soap, detergent, or chemical cleaners. They coat the pores and slow absorption.

Long-term restoration Months or years from now, if absorption begins to slow, lightly sand the surface with the included 320-grit paper in circular motions. Wipe away the dust. The mat restores indefinitely.

A few things to avoid Standing water inside the shower. This mat is for the moment you step out. Shoes on the surface. Self-tanner, hair dye, or other dark liquids that may drip from skin or hair. Prolonged direct sunlight, or storing on its edge.
