Standing by the material.
Every MEGEM mat is covered by a one-year material warranty against manufacturing defects. The terms are short because the material is honest. What follows is the full set, in plain language.
Defects of manufacture.
Structural defects present at the moment of manufacture are covered for one year from the date of delivery. This includes pre-existing cracks, surface delamination, and material failure under normal standing use.
If your mat develops one of these defects during the warranty period, we replace it. No restocking fee, no return shipping cost, no negotiation.
Damage from use.
Damage caused by dropping, impact, or mishandling is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered. Cracking from a fall, chipped corners from a heavy tap, or surface staining from prolonged liquid contact are signs of use, not failure.
Use outside the intended environment is also not covered. The mat is designed for the bathroom floor, not the shower itself. Standing water inside the shower will degrade the surface over time.

Write to us with photographs.
Email hello@megemhome.com with your order number and clear photographs of the defect. Two or three angles, in good light, are enough. We assess every claim within two business days and respond with next steps.
Approved claims receive a replacement at no charge. If a replacement is unavailable, we issue a full refund to the original payment method. The original mat is yours to keep or discard. We do not ask for it back.
